About Me

Hi, I’m Jon!
I’m an actor, writer, director and techie specialising in audio and AV, with experience in community, University, semi-professional and Fringe Festival theatre as well as AV event work.  I’m an experienced freelance theatre tech, working as a Technical Production Officer at Don Russel Performing Arts Centre with a ‘best technician in a student show’ award at Curtin University.

I’ve worked as an Audio and AV Tech at Curtin University, The Regal Theatre, Koorliney Arts Centre, Don Russel Performing Arts Centre, Crown Casino, Connections Nightclub and as an Audio and AV Tech for the Perth French Theatre Company as well as for shows in FRINGE WORLD 2021 and 2022, including sell out shows ‘Sh*t You like to Sing‘ and ‘Un Cabaret Dans Legendes‘.

I have experience with Qlab, Live Sound, bump in and bump out work, last minute tech gigs and creating original soundscapes as a designer and composer.

My shows The Guards Die at the End, DARK SECTOR and Mechanical Man have been performed at Curtin University, The Nostalgia Box and as a part of FRINGE WORLD 2021 and 2022.
I have worked as an actor in Endgame, The Lion in Winter, Machinal, The Importance of Being Earnest, Clue, Much Ado about Nothing (honors) and Kid Stakes.
I have worked as a composer and live sound technician on The Importance of being Earnest, Oedipus Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, The Producers, Because there was Fire, The Laramie Project, Un Cabaret Dans Le Temps, Sh*t We like to Sing, Un Cabaret Dans Legendes, Moana Jnr, A Cabaret of Golden Age Musicals, Footfalls and Shrek the Musical Jnr.

I am one of the organisers of Concord LARP, a live action role playing game based in Boddington, WA. I am the Economic storyteller and the front of the Auction House at game, if you’re interested in getting into LARP, hit me up.
